Vision

I always strive to bring out the best in people in everything I do, and when I build something, I make sure to build it to last.

Saleh Alwallan is a Saudi executive, investor, and founder based in Riyadh with over 18 years of experience across seven organizations spanning finance, investment, technology, and national development.

Since December 2024 he has served as Chairman and full-time Chief Executive Officer of Nataedge Research, a firm that transforms rigorous research into real-world ventures across future economies, deep technology, and innovation transfer, and of 86 Investments, a premium real estate investment and development house built on more than three decades of construction expertise.

As Chief Financial Officer of the Saudi Esports Federation from 2020 to 2023, he helped drive tenfold revenue growth, contributed to a national gaming and esports strategy valued at more than SAR 146 billion, and supported landmark initiatives including the Savvy Gaming Group with the Public Investment Fund and the Gamers8 festival. He previously advised the Ministry of Finance on national receivables and served as Business Development Senior Director at the Social Development Bank, where his work helped lower the cost of capital for small businesses from eight percent to two percent.

An entrepreneur at heart, he founded controlleX, an IoT energy company whose solutions supported savings of more than SAR 5 billion for the Saudi Electricity Company, and Alwallan Logistics Company, a logistics business he ran for over a decade before a successful exit. He holds two patents, in liquid-asset sponsorship structures and real-estate-backed digital assets.

He holds a BBA in Finance from King Saud University, a Project Management certificate from the University of Washington, and executive credentials from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Over his career he has overseen a portfolio of 1,387 real estate units worth more than SAR 3 billion and contributed to over 20 projects exceeding SAR 188 billion in value.

Leadership Philosophy

Leadership is stewardship. I believe in patient capital, deep research before action, and building institutions - not just companies - that outlast their founders. Growth that is not grounded in evidence is speculation; growth that is, becomes legacy.
